Create Extra Pages

In addition to articles, news and blogs, you are able to create extra pages for your site, in typical 'CMS' fashion, such as "About Us", "Services", etc. Each page created is automatically displayed on your site and also as part of your navigation menu. You can even turn your menu into a dynamic dropdown menu with a simple click.

Keep Visitors Updated By Posting News

Add fresh content to your website using the inbuilt News feature. Creating news items encourages repeat visitation. You can even schedule news to publish at a time in the future, and also schedule it for automated expiry after being shown for any pre-determined amount of time on your site.

Unlimited Categories & Sub Categories

We use a comprehensive category system to organize your articles into sensible navigable sections. Create as many parent and child categories as you need to organise your information.

Blogs

Capitalise on the popularity of blogs by running one or more inside your site :

Complete Website Statistics

Your management panel provides statistics for everything you need to know about your site, including most popular pages and articles, most discussed articles, most emailed articles and similar useful metrics on the take-up of your content by site visitors.

Control Over Important Site Functions

You're easily able to switch on and off important site features with the click of a button. Options such as the ability to rate an article, post a comment and auto-approve new comments can be turned on/off as you require without having to modify any of the underlying site code.

Integrated Favourites and "Wishlist"

Visitors to your website can quickly and easily keep a list of articles that they want to read using the built-in "Add to Favourites" and "Add to Wishlist" options. They can then access these lists whenever they return to your website, without needing to login or create an account.

Context-Sensitive Help and Glossary

You can use the glossary feature to add pop-up definitions of technical terms or acronyms to your FAQ pages and other article content.

Search-Friendly Features

As online marketing specialists, we provide your system with search engine optimization (SEO) in mind. We've added specific features to ensure the major search engines (including Google, MSN and Yahoo) can index your content easily.

Static URL's. We use static URL's which are easier to read for both search engines and humans alike, and will dramatically increase the search engine visibility of your content

Keywords in URL's. The system places your page title in the URL, increasing your pages relevance to the keywords in the article title.

Automatic site map
. Sitemaps are an integral part of any optimized website, helping the search software crawl and find any new pages. The automatic generation of this sitemap ensures any new content added to your site is found easily.

Unlimited article pages
. Breaking your articles into multiple pages allows easier online reading, and increases the total number of pages within your site. This can be a benefit to Google's assessment of the size and importance of your site.

Allowing others to submit content
. Content is the key factor in generating effective search engine results. By using the option to allow others to submit content on your website, you leverage the efforts of others to grow your own search engine visibility and importance.

Automated syndication. Incoming links are the other major deciding factor in Google determining your site's importance. As your PeakSense site will be an attractive, professional looking website which increases your likelihood of getting linked to, it also features our RSS syndication option, allowing others to link directly to your top 10 articles or category specific articles in seconds. The list is updated instantly on other sites as soon as any content is added on your site.

Edit source code

If your content manager/s have HTML skills, the Editor window allows for a switch to "Source" view, which exposes the underlying source code of all content for editing.

Simply click between the "Edit" (normal editor) view and "Source" as necessary. And example of using HTML is embedding YouTube clips in a page. Select the appropriate position in the web document in the source code view and enter HTML code as you normally would in any web authoring program.
